Wielding the Tools

In the wise words of content writer, Ann Handley: "For businesses, good writing isn't merely any tool. It's the power tool they be a able to wield expertly, just as every respectable building contractor can use the Skilsaw he keeps in his truck."

It's true that communication through writing is the most powerful too we have for communicating with, and drawing in our audience. It sets the basis for a strong, thriving business.

I meet so many people who lack confidence when it comes to expressing the role and personality of their business in words. This why I believe it's vitally important to have someone with the experience and training who can help you to "wield" that power tool.

Reference Books

There are always "how to" books out there from business to skiing.

They seem to be a dime a dozen. However, there are always ones that a gripping, informative and honestly helpful.

Any of the writing reference books by James Scott Bell are worth checking out. They have helped me immensely in my writing, and helped give me a better perspective on the publishing industry.

Are there any reference books that you have useful or even inspirational in some way? I'd love to hear about them in the comments!
